The AI Sales Engine
Four stages, run in sequence, built once and maintained for the long term, the same discipline that fills a calendar and compounds a pipeline.
- I
Diagnose
We map how your sales force actually generates and closes pipeline today: the lead sources, the follow-up cadence, and the bottlenecks quietly capping bookings.
- II
Design
We architect the specific AI systems your sales force needs: lead generation, lead tracking, AI interaction, and appointment setting, built for your model, not a template.
- III
Deploy
We install the engine inside your existing CRM and dialers and train your reps to run it, so it becomes part of how the sales force operates.
- IV
Compound
We tune the system on a fixed cadence, so booked meetings keep building on themselves instead of resetting every quarter.
What's included in the engine
Pipeline Audit & Diagnostic
A full accounting of your lead flow, follow-up, and booking process: where pipeline is leaking today.
Custom AI Systems Build
The engine itself: lead generation, lead tracking, AI interaction, and appointment-setting workflows wired into your existing stack.
Sales Force Enablement
Documentation and hands-on training so your reps own and operate the system with confidence.
Ongoing Optimization
Scheduled tuning cycles that keep the engine calibrated as your pipeline changes.
Operating principles
Compounding over hype
We're not chasing the newest AI trend. We're installing systems that get more valuable the longer you run them.
Systems, not sprints
A campaign ends. An engine runs. Every engagement is designed to keep producing after we've moved on.
Built on your operation
No off-the-shelf playbooks. The engine is designed around how your sales force actually books and closes revenue.
Legacy is the standard
We ask one question of every decision: would this still be worth running in ten years? If not, we don't build it.
Meet the Legacy AI Management team
Legacy AI Management brings together the experience of Chad, Joy, and Liz Bates. For more than 30 years, the Bates family has built businesses around solving complex problems, earning clients' trust, and building relationships that last. That experience has taught them the value of clear strategy, dependable operations, and following through for the people they serve.
One of the family's businesses was named to the Inc. 500 list of America's fastest-growing companies, received the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce's Business of the Year award, and won a BBB Golden Torch Award in its 11-county region. It was also a finalist for the BBB International Torch Award for Ethics.
They now bring those strengths to companies that build software and tools for sales teams. Chad leads analysis and strategy, Joy develops new relationships and supports existing clients, and Liz manages the operations that turn a plan into consistent action. Together, they help these companies reach potential customers, improve follow-up, and grow their sales pipelines with practical AI-supported tools.
All three are Rotarians and share a love of volunteering in their community. They created Dancing with the Arlington Stars on behalf of the Rotary Club of Arlington. In its first three years, the fundraiser netted more than $850,000 for Arlington-area nonprofits. Their shared commitment to service shapes how they work with clients and their community.
Chad Bates
CEO & Lead Strategist
Chad Bates brings more than 46 years of business and financial leadership to Legacy AI Management. As founder of the Legacy family of companies, he has spent his career evaluating complex opportunities, building businesses, and helping clients make confident decisions.
As CEO and Lead Analyst, Chad studies each client's market, sales process, and growth goals. His analysis guides strategies that help companies building tools for sales teams reach the right businesses, improve follow-up, and grow their sales pipelines.
Chad is a Texas A&M graduate and an Eagle Scout. Away from work, he enjoys cooking for his family, traveling with Joy, and cheering on the Aggies during football season.
Joy Bates
Executive Vice President, Business Development & Client Success
Joy Bates has built her career on personal service and relationships that continue well beyond a single transaction. As a licensed mortgage loan officer, she has helped people become homeowners and remained a resource to many of them years after closing.
At Legacy AI Management, Joy leads business development and client success. She gets to know companies that build software and tools for sales teams, learns what they want to achieve, and helps them take the first steps with Legacy. She stays connected as their needs evolve, making sure communication is clear and clients feel supported throughout the relationship.
A proud Aggie, Joy loves watching football, especially Texas A&M games, with Chad. She also enjoys traveling, reading in her backyard, and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
Liz Bates
Senior Vice President & Operations Manager
Liz Bates has spent her career keeping complex work organized and clients informed. Across the Legacy businesses, she has managed client processes, developed retention efforts, and supported marketing, websites, and technology. She brings that experience to the day-to-day operations of Legacy AI Management.
As Operations Manager, Liz coordinates the work behind growth programs for companies that build software and tools for sales teams. She helps keep outreach, AI-assisted lead responses, CRM tracking, and client communication moving together. With a psychology degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, she pays close attention to how communication feels to the person receiving it.
Outside of work, Liz loves tackling DIY projects, learning new skills, and spending time with the pets she considers her kids.
